1. GENERAL1.1. “SLICE COMPUTER SYSTEMS & COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT SOFTWARE DESIGN L.L.C” maintains the https://sliceapp.io Website (“Site”). The Website may use cookies. SLICE provides Services that allow merchants to offer consumers the ability to pay for their bill on their smartphone. Consumers can scan a QR, review the bill, split the bill, add a tip and pay. They can also review the experience and sign in to SLICE personal account for seeing the bills and promotions.1.3. United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile and stipulate that the governing law is the local law. All disputes arising in connection therewith shall be heard only by a court of competent jurisdiction in U.A.E.1.4. Visa or MasterCard debit and credit cards in AED will be accepted for payment.1.5. We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) and sanctioned countries in accordance with the law of UAE.1.6. Customer using the website who are Minor /under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website.1.7. Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.1.8. User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account.1.9. SECURITY CLAUSE5.1 When making payments using our services, or receiving payments using our services, your financial details are passed through a secure server using industry standard encryption technology.5.2 We use industry standard encryption technology to transmit and encrypt all financial and payment information in our possession.5.3 https://sliceapp.io will not pass any debit/credit card details to third parties.5.4 All credit/debit cards' details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.5.5 https://sliceapp.io takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through various hardware and software methodologies. 6. PAYMENT PROCESS6.1 We are not directly involved in the online payment but through a third party service provider.6.2 Once the payment is made, the confirmation notice will be shown to the client o the screen and can be downloaded by client in pdf format or sent via email within 24 hours of receipt of payment if the client provides an email.6.3 We have no liability for transactions which are incorrect as a result of inaccurate data entry in the course of the use of the Service or for loss of data or information caused by factors beyond our control.6.4 You may not use this Service for any unauthorised or unlawful purpose.6.5 We do not accept any responsibility for refusal or reversal of payments, which shall be a matter between you and your credit card issuer.6.6 The Company shall not be liable for payments taking place at a partner venue using fraudulent payment methods.6.7 Request for refunds must be directly with the venue staff where the transaction took place.6.8 Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment. Please allow for up to 45 days for the refund transfer to be completed.
7.CANCELLATION7.1 The Agreement is effective until terminated by either party. You may cancel or terminate this Agreement by notifying SLICE and paying all amounts you owe to SLICE (including any fees or expenses incurred) in full. SLICE shall pay all amounts SLICE owe to you if any within a month.The privileges granted to you under this Agreement will terminate immediately after notice from us if, in our sole discretion, you fail to comply with any term or provision of this Agreement.
